Meagan Tubb and Shady People ~ ...listening to Austin itself!

Meagan Tubb & Shady People ~ Austin, Texas
Current release:  Cast Your Shadow

Meagan Tubb & Shady People is a band that puts out a sound that's as true as Austin itself.  Meagan's "Bonnie Raitt-esque" vocals go directly to the heart of the Austin Americana music scene aficionado... and with this combination of talent, they're destined for more.

As I listen for the first time, Meagan's vocals come across with the energy of a night on 6th Street, along with a sultry strength that whispers "...listen to me."

This is a combo of artists that truly take the music seriously, a definitive add to the TOR music rotation, as well as my own personal collection.

Backed up by an incredible group of musicians with highly impressive resumes, Meagan Tubb & Shady People is a band to be requested in any venue.  Help spread the word!

Meagan Tubb & The Shady People are:
~ Meagan Tubb, Lead Vocals/rhythm guitar ~
~ Jason Nunnenkamp, Lead/Slide Guitar/Back Up Vocals ~
~ John Duran, Drums ~
~ Wilson Carr, Bass/Back Up Vocals ~

You can visit the MT&SP websites for more information and tour dates, and how to purchase a copy of their newest release "Cast Your Shadow" :
ReverbNation, MySpace, Facebook

You can find a link to their live performance of "Sweet Dream ~ Live at the Saxon Pub" on our Texas Online Radio Facebook page, and the song "Giving Tree", off of Cast Your Shadow, is on the media player in the left margin.

I'll be keeping an eye/ear on MT&SP and keep you posted.

Until next find,
