Texas Online Radio ~ Live Broadcast 6/1/2011

Had another good day learning the ropes broadcasting live on UStream.tv.  There were 16 folks that bounced in and out, farthest away was Jorge from Sao Paulo, Brazil.  He and his friends love Texas style music.  He'll be sending some of his local talent for us to feature here on Texas Online Radio.  It's always great to hear varied music styles from around the world.  Remember,
"...it's all about the music."

Today's 15min segment consists of "Moments in Texas History" where I talk about the Kerrville Folk Festival's beginnings; Kristy Jackson performs "I Want What She's Got"; California artist Sharif gives us a look at lost love with "Another Wasted Rose"; and we finished up the set with Ricky Carden's "Houston".  Very good artists, unique sounds which made for a terrific afternoon.  Thanks everyone!
