I love this great State of ours, and enjoy every minute I've spent here over the last fifty or so years.
From the Gulf Coast to the Panhandle, from the heat of far West Texas to the Bayous of the East and down to the fertile Valleys of Harlengen... I've traveled about every region of this Great State of Texas.
One thing in common with it all is the people. A smile, a handshake or a hug greet you wherever you go. You may be able to take the people out of Texas, but you can't take Texas out of the people.
Since I started Texas Online Radio a little over five years ago, and having it on and off line as the day job traveling allowed, I've had the opportunity to meet some really fine folks. Now, bringing the site back online and the technology a bit easier to work with, getting to know someone or finding out about somewhere or something you never knew existed is just a click away.
Over the next month I'm launching
"Texas ~ ...why be anywhere else."
Live, work, play, and vacation right here in Texas!
It's a campaign to contact as many Chambers of Commerce and Convention and Visitors bureaus as possible and post interesting and informative information about locations and destinations around the state. So the next time you're thinking about relocating,
starting a business or taking a vacation, you'll have the information at your fingertips, and more than likely, it will be right here in our own back yard.
I'll be recruiting sponsors for segments on the podcasts, features like "Living Texas Style", "On the Horizon" which showcases new music, and "Moments in Texas History" and a new one I'm trying out, "KTOR Tv". This will be an opportunity for the various CofC's and CVB's to get the word out about what they have to offer in their communities using their videos they produce.
Through the use of all types of social media, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, UStream, ReverbNation, ..etc, I want to spread the word to Texans and those outside the State great ideas and information about Texas. Also, I cross promote with my other site, Texas Beer and Wine, where we have information on Texas made beer, wine, and spirits, and an occasional recipe or weekend get-away destination.
We're the strongest state in the union, and there's a reason for that. We have some of the greatest natural resources in the country, top Universities, and business savvy and a work ethic that has no rival, as well as great places to live, work and play. The people of Texas make the difference.
Texas Online Radio is not your usual "radio" station, nor like your typical internet radio...
We search out great music, informative news, and throw out our own two cents every now and then.
If you have any ideas, comments or want to be a sponsor on the site, simply drop me a note to
and we can discuss sponsorships or advertising opportunities.
We're growing, and interest is building...
Thank you for visiting, flip on some music and take a few minutes to view the site.
Thanks again... Jeff Falck; Owner/Publisher
Tell it like it is Jerry!!
