Today's Texas Quick Pick - Matt Harlan ~ Houston, Texas

I did a posting for Matt earlier this year when I was getting Texas Online Radio back online.  He'll be releasing a new album early next year and he's offering a free download of one of the tunes off the new work.  He's backed up by the terrific voice of Rachel  Jones... They're today's Texas Quick Pick! ~Jeff/TOR

...from Matt's Christmas newsletter.

Hey y'all,

I know it's a little early for Christmas, but I've never really been known for my patience. (Procrastination? Maybe. Patience? Rarely.) So, I wanted to share with y'all a little preview of what to expect on the upcoming album, tentatively titled, Bow and Be Simple.

HOLIDAY DOWNLOAD – "Too Much Going On"
I'm offering a song up from the upcoming release for download. No strings. No need to enter your email address or "like" my band page. Just a gift...from me to y'all. If you want to share it, feel free to send the link around, but please let your friends know that this is not yet mastered, so you might need to turn your speakers up to hear properly.

The final product will be clearer and more fitting for radio play. “Too Much Going On” (co-written with my buddy Colin Raftery) is a song that I've been introducing as my "holiday theme song" since it deals with just having too many irons in the fire and not enough hands to handle them. You can download it from my ReverbNation profile, or just click the link at the bottom of this email. I’ll be taking the song down sometime after Christmas as we get nearer the release date. ....Read more here.

Here’s the direct link to the song: http://www.reverbnation.com/tunepak/3510894 Thanks for reading.

Take it easy, see ya'll soon.
